We are Mike, Laura, Joanna, David, and Samuel Lothers. Mike develops a tool called Paratext that is used by Bible translation teams around the world. He is supporting translators on their projects through every phase of the Bible translation process. The result is reaching people who don’t have God’s Word so that evangelism, church planting and discipleship become possible as God's Word goes out.

It's all about Transformation

God's Word brings transformation. It communicates His redemptive love and, as people receive this gift of grace, the natural response is a thankful life of obedience. As we see the power of God's Word transforming our own lives, it seems like the most valuable thing to offer to the Bibleless peoples of the world. More than 2,000 languages projects are in progress and almost 2,000 languages are yet to start where there is not a verse of Scripture. 

In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.  

Colossians 1:6 

His word is eternal and will always bring forth the fruit that God desires...

So is my word that goes out from my mouth:

    It will not return to me empty,

but will accomplish what I desire

    and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
